Fountain Hills is situated on the eastern slope of the McDowell Mountains. This majestic range naturally separates Fountains Hills from Scottsdale and the rest of metro Phoenix. This secluded community is just a 25 minute drive to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Next door, to the north and east, is the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation community, which includes the Fort McDowell Casino and the beautiful We-Ko-Pa Golf Club. To the south is the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. The main landmark of Fountain Hills is the world’s highest fountain. This fountain can be seen for miles around at its full height of 560 feet into the air.
